Make sure you're using a Chrome browser, and make sure your sound is turned on. If you're using dual monitors, the sound may be going to your second monitor - try unplugging that monitor. On rare occasions a corporate firewall can hinder or disrupt a video stream. If that happens, try going "incognito" in Chrome, or try using a personal device.

To view the content in the Hindi Language, you can Click on the Globe Icon on the Top Bar which says Localisation Settings>>Scroll Down and Select the Hindi Language from the Dropdown.

There is no waiting list for the lounges. When you see an unoccupied seat to join the conversation, you can just click on the seat/table. Youcan also chat with other attendees directly.

If your video or audio device is not compatible, you shall receive an error message saying “No compatible devices found”

  1. Check if Audio/Video Permissions are given for the Event community web application. If not,follow the steps mentioned in this guide to successfully enable browser permissions for your camera and microphone.
  2. Make sure the drivers are installed for Audio and Video Devices
  3. Please Check the following if you are facing issues
    • Camera & Mic Please ensure you have enabled camera and mic permissions for this page Refresh the page Most issues could be due to a temporary glitch and get resolved by a quickbrowser refresh
    • Leave and re-join If the issue still persists, try leaving and re-joining the room
    • Switch Network VPNs and Firewall enabled networks could block some functionalities of Rooms. Try switching to a different network
    • Browser Version Rooms are best experienced in the latest version of Chrome on a laptop/Desktop. Kindly upgrade the browser or switch to a Laptop/Desktop if the issuepersists.
  4. Restart the device and try again
  5. If still unable to connect, changing the device might be the last resort Lounge device issue.

    Audio/Video Not Working- For your video/audio to be visible to the other participants in thelounge, your device requires a fully functional web camera and microphone to begin with.

    Ensure that the permission for the browser to access your camera and microphone is enabled.

    If you are still unable to connect to the lounge, after providing access to your camera and microphone, ensure that you're on a decent internet bandwidth (minimum bandwidth of 800kbps/1.0Mbps (up/down). Reconnect your internet connection and re-join the networkinglounge

    Lounge firewall issue

    If you are accessing the lounge from your organisation’s network, there may be a chance thatit may show ‘connecting’ despite the access to camera and microphone enabled. This is because your organisation’s firewall will be blocking access to an external site outside theorganisation framework.

    To resolve this, disconnect from your organisational network and join using your personalnetwork. You will be able to access the networking lounge.
